Chris Lawson, Senior Operations Manager at LWF Services, LLC, I have a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Kansas. I am married to Liz Lawson, have three sons & six wonderful grandkids. My background has helped with project management and critical thinking to develop out of the box solutions for projects. This kind of thinking has lead to LWF receiving multiple patents for frac equipment parts.

As Senior Operations Manager I work to develop a cohesive team environment that focuses on the importance of each employee and how their roles are vital to the whole operation at LWF. I oversee common day to day tasks of various departments of LWF to designing projects for customers and R&D prototypes.

I assist with projects in our Structural Department, Piping Department; while my primary focus is the Machine Shop, Fluid End Refurb Department and Industrial Driveline Department. In these departments I manage floor leads, welders, machinists, mechanics & floor hands, oversee maintenance on equipment & ensure a safe work environment is maintained. Projects are designed, quoted, materials ordered and tracked to ensure projects are completed correctly and are profitable to the company.

I am responsible for the creation of 3D CAD models and assemblies, fabrication drawings, machining drawings & CNC files; along with material specifications, welding specifications specific to customer requirements or per project or weldment needs. We work with customers and 3rd party engineers to ensure our projects will meet any ASME, API, SAE, AWS or other various codes that are required.

I coordinate with the various departments and our weld processes, along with our CNC plasma table, CNC plasma profiler & CNC press brake. I ensure our various processes and capabilities are coordinated for each project so the customer’s expectations are exceeded. This coordination allows us the ability to work on complex projects utilizing multiple welding process, machine processes & equipment to deliver a satisfactory product for our customer.
